Strong steel frame construction
A steel frame modular unit is a good balance of strength, portability and durability. We believe it is the optimum design for ensuring the unit is solid and comfortable, doesn’t damage easily and is light enough to move without too much hassle.
Advantages
3mm guage steel for strength and rigidity.
Galvanised for enhanced rust resistence.
Steel section flooring joists, termite proof.
Powder coated paint finish. Durable and repaintable.
Steel sheet roofing, minimal opportunities for leaks.
Lifting points, for and easy tie downs if needed.
integral roofing unit, steel framed for strength.
Combined with Cool room panels, extremely rigid.
The transportable units are built with a steel frame in a similar footprint to a 20ft container. A 3mm steel is robust enough to move the unit around, and to stack 2 high, and light enough to be practical for transporting. They are galvanised and the roof is clad in steel sheet and there is a very smart design internal guttering system that ensures the unit is highly resistant to water. Galvanising and high performance paint ensure a long life with limited rust to deal with. They are not designed as the same strength as a full 20ft container, and in situ need to be sited on level surface to ensure they do not twist over time.
